Yes, You Want Security

Last is the customer security phase. This may not seem to be a matter of paramount importance, given everything you have been through to this point.  It is very comforting, however, to know you will be provided with expert training for the operation of all systems and that all operational manuals have been turned over to you. 

At this point, any reputable contractor will introduce you to his Contractor Service Representative who will be there for you should a warranty issue ensue. Most states require a general contractor to stand behind their work for one year, even though many components, such as roofing, will carry a minimum of ten years warranty.
